Three rescues, one name.
Hei came first — my black boy, rescued in 2024, the calmest in the house. He's the reason I started keeping records at all. Then Tong, the tortoiseshell, found sick in the rain before a shelter saved her. She's the boundary-tester, the one whose vaccine schedule I kept losing track of. She made the spreadsheet necessary. Then Meow — my youngest, who mostly follows Tong around and pretends it was his idea.
